Do you have a teen who loves to take photos? Oh Snap! Photo Club might just bring out the creative genius in your teen. The club meets every first Friday of each month at the Timberland Regional Library in Yelm. Each meeting will have a learning session about how to compose images, set up and work with lighting, and how to make the most of the equipment at hand - including, but not limited to, that trusty cell phone camera.
After the learning sessions the teens will take to the streets and wilderness around the area to practice and hone their skills. The resulting photographs will be displayed in the library gallery and online. Friday, November 4th the group meets from noon until 1:30 p.m. due to Yelm district schools letting out 1/2 day. December 2nd's meeting will be at the regular time, 3:00 p.m. The club is sponsored by Friends of the Library and is open to all teens in middle school and high school in the Yelm area.
